In New York’s 22nd Congressional District, LCV Action Fund-endorsed John Mannion is challenging Republican incumbent Brandon Williams. State Senator (and former teacher) John Mannion earned a 93% score from New York League of Conservation Voters and co-sponsored a bill to provide an income tax credit for residential solar installations. In Congress, he’ll fight to bring more good paying clean energy jobs to Central New York and the Mohawk Valley. Brandon Williams has an 8% LCV score and voted to repeal tax credits for solar and wind energy that are expected to help New Yorkers save $12 billion on energy costs in the coming decades.
