In both the Senate, and before that in the House, Jacky Rosen has been a dedicated advocate for clean energy and public lands in Nevada. She has fought against using Yucca Mountain for dumping nuclear waste, with a long record of understanding the risks it poses to Nevadans’ health and safety. Senator Rosen has been a solar power champion and has helped accomplish historic progress in building the clean energy economy and has worked with Native communities in Nevada to advocate for national monuments like Avi Kwa Ame.

Sam Brown is a MAGA extremist who is out of step with Nevada. His support for opening Yucca Mountain to dangerous nuclear waste because it would be a source of revenue speaks to a record of putting profits and polluters over the health and safety of Nevada communities. He has also said he would eliminate the Departments of Energy, Transportation and “environmental departments and agencies” from the Federal Government.
